I'm a thirty-something, married, mother of two. I have a master's degree in English with a specialization in Women's Studies. I also have my teaching degree. I work full-time at our local University in palliative care education. When I'm not at work I enjoy spending time with my family, out exploring with my two dogs, and visiting with friends. I love hiking, running, and strength training, lively debates, poker and red wine - and many things in between. I'm an introvert who passes as an extrovert. (Some days better than others.)
I photograph births, babies and families.
I specialize in 4th trimester photography and breastfeeding portraiture.
With a natural talent for spotting framing and composition, I have always enjoyed taking photos and documenting the world around me. Over the past several years I have invested significant time and effort into the pursuit of photography, and what started as a casual hobby has turned into a celebration of the creative. Shying away from traditional studio portraiture, I would love nothing more than to spend time in your space (or favourite place!) and photographing you in a way that is natural and authentic.
